Nowell has had Mini Coopers on the brain. He test drove one on his own and went again with Mr. X Saturday afternoon before QSC. They drove all over and decided the Mini S handles better than the convertible.

In other car news, Oliver received a replacement hub cap in the mail, and it took him an hour to install it. Shouldn't it only take a few minutes? Don mocked Oliver for incompetence in the car maintenance department.

James and Ian now have a beautiful chandelier in their dining room. The linear light feature mixes both modern and classic elements. It will go well with Ian's mahogany antique dining table.

Don took over 350 photos within a day of acquiring his new camera this week. He plans to take many more on his vacation out west. It has serious zoom capabilities, so you better cover up those pores.

It was a full blanket at Concerts on the square with Fred and Greg enjoying their picnic dinner and sharing some baby swiss and havarti cheeses. Greg has embarked on reading an 800+ biography of Theodore Roosevelt. Fred prefers lighter fare—Michael Crichton's Timeline. James shared his Irish Darby cheese and a dark, red wine with the group.

Jack joined Don for dinner Tuesday night and had a Guinness at Amy's as Don chowed down. Amy's wasn't packed, so Don concluded Tuesday Trivia Night must be over.

Congratulations to Kim, who received an offer of work in Muncie, IN. She and mulhern plan to move together to Indiana early in August. Their friends and a certain yellow plush toy will miss them!

Last Sunday, Oliver had brunch at Mickey's with Jen, a friend visiting from Chicago. He ordered the world's best breakfast sandwich. The non-creamy cole slaw was especially refreshing.

It's a shame that we cannot seem to get in to Cafe Costa Rica on a Saturday night. It was a second aborted attempt. One of James's favorite dining options, he recommends people give it a try on a weekday night!

Foodie Tip: After hyping it in his own mind for months, Oliver discovered that the frozen yogurt at Red Mango is nothing special. He found his key lime yogurt bland and flavorless. Perhaps his mistake was not ordering any toppings, which cost an additional 50 cents each. Talk about cheap!
